To conform to C.O.S.H.H. and the British Standards all fume cupboards and exhaust installations should be checked at least every fourteen months. We provide this service, offering monthly, six monthly, twelve monthly or bespoke schedules.
In most cases a quote for a maintenance and servicing agreement can be arranged over the phone, but if the fume cupboard installations are of a complex nature, or they are multiple installations on a large site, then a site visit would be necessary. A site survey to quote for the servicing and maintenance agreement will be arranged free of charge.
During the inspection, our engineers will make a detailed examination of all parts associated with the fume cupboard and extract system, compiling a comprehensive report , recording any defects or recommendations. Should there be a malfunction with any equipment, serious enough to warrant it, then a warning notice will be issued, applied to that equipment and the laboratory supervisor notified immediately.
